China Extention Stem Wafer Butterfly Valve Manufacturer, Exporters

Extended stem butterfly valves are mainly suitable for use in deep wells or high temperature environments (for protecting the actuator from damage due to encountering high temperatures). By lengthening the valve stem to achieve the requirements of use. The lengthened tell can be ordered according to the use of the site to make the length.

Technical Highlights & Quality Control

Body & Seat Pressure Testing

Body Test: The valve body test uses 1.5 times the standard pressure. The test should be done after installation, with the valve disc half closed, called the body pressure test. The valve seat uses 1.1 times the standard pressure.

Standard Execution & Inspection

ZFA Valve strictly executes the API598 standard. We conduct both-side pressure testing for 100% of the valves, guaranteeing the delivery of 100% quality valves to our customers.

Precision Casting & Traceability

All valve bodies are made by precision casting using DI, WCB, Stainless Steel, and many other materials, offering a perfect appearance. Each batch has its casting stove number, making it easy to trace for material protection.

CNC Machining Disc

We use CNC machining to process the valve disc, strictly controlling the precision of the valve in-house to guarantee optimal sealing properties from low to high temperatures.

Solid Body & Tempered Stem

Our valve stem is made of stainless steel; its strength is enhanced after tempering, reducing deformation risks. Additionally, ZFA valve bodies feature a solid body design, providing greater weight and durability than standard types.

Seat Design & Coating

Bolts and nuts use SS304 for enhanced rust protection. The body utilizes high-adhesive epoxy resin powder. The seat features a wide edge design for easier sealing and installation, with a stem lug boss and O-ring ensuring reliable secondary sealing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What testing pressures are applied to the valve body and seat?
The valve body test applies 1.5 times the standard pressure with the disc half-closed after installation. The seat test uses 1.1 times the standard pressure.
What standard is executed for testing at ZFA Valve?
ZFA Valve strictly executes the API598 standard and performs 100% two-sided pressure testing on all valves before delivery.
How is the traceability and quality of the valve body maintained?
All valve bodies are made via precision casting with solid bodies for higher strength. Each batch features a dedicated casting stove number for full material protection and traceability.
What are the key advantages of ZFA valve stems and discs?
Discs are processed via CNC machining for precise sealing across low to high temperatures. Valve stems are manufactured from tempered stainless steel to maximize strength and prevent deformation.
What design features enhance the sealing of the valve seat?
The seat features a wide edge design for simpler connection and installation. It also incorporates a lug boss in the stem direction equipped with an O-ring to ensure a reliable secondary seal.
What materials are available for the valve body and disc?
Bodies are available in Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Bronze, and Aluminium Alloy. Discs are available in DI+Ni, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Bronze, and various coated finishes.
